Game 7 - Leafs @ Habs - Saturday Oct 22nd 2011 - 19:00 EST - 5-4 Win

Kule's got the tying marker. He in particular has been fighting it a lot early in the season but two things haven't changed with him: 1) Work ethic 2) Going hard to the net.

Lets hope this can spark that line.

don't care who scored, drive to the net and get rewarded.

Now we need another one, don't want to turn this one in a 3 points game.

Fortunately for the Leafs, Price has not looked particularly good tonight, and he's lucky the Habs aren't trailing by a few. Not exactly a well goaltended game tonight.

I've always defended Gus, but he's got to win this game now.  The team hasn't given up on him.  Get it done Gustavsson.

BOS was averaing less than 2 goals until met the Monster. Habs had only 13 goals all season bf tonight, have 3 on Gustavsson in half-game..

A lot of you are being 10 times harder on Gus than you ever were on Reimer.

Reimer after 42 GP - .920 SV%, 24 W

Gus after 66 GP - .897 SV%, 22W

Gus while playing the odd good game has largely shown nothing. Reimer has shown he can win and has had more good games than bad.

I'm just saying on a goal by goal basis right now. Reimer has given up his share of stinkers this year, including tonight.

At this point I'm thinking of doing this (LaLaLaLa) for about a month and then checking out how we're doing...

Yep the eyes shut are appropriate too...for the next 5 min anyway.

The big difference I see between them other than numbers is in attitude. Reimer seems to have a "bend but not break" type of mentality - even when he gives up a bad goal or two, he tends to manage to keep the Leafs in the game and/or help them gain some momentum at a key point. Gustavsson, however, tends to tailspin a little bit when things start going bad for him - he just doesn't have the mental fortitude required to be an NHL goalie.
