Leafs @ Canadiens - Oct. 1st, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Apparently, Bodie will be playing on the 3rd line with Bolland and Raymond, while Ashton is on the 4th line.

And it begins.

Yay! The hubby managed to fix the Bud Red Light. Bears at the ready, game ON!

:-)

ready to go too!

Let's remember one thing at the outset of the season.

The Leafs can't be as underwhelming and as big a flop as the hugely hyped Jays have been.

This talk of sacredness & temples is a little creepy.

If Briere fist pumps the Eternal Flame he'll set himself on fire.

I was just thinking that the guy who earned a spot on the team with his play should play with Orr while the guy who didn't should get 3rd line opportunity.

Also, is this Montreal celebrating their 100th anniversary again?

Close. It's the 100th anniversary of their first post-season riot. Of course, in those days, fans got drunk and set fire to a bunch of horses.

Just looking at the roster and stuff, where did Paul Ranger go for three years? I remember him playing for Tampa but assumed he'd just dropped down to the AHL (and had signed for the Marlies last year). Why the gap in his playing?

Personal reasons that have not been elaborated on.
