In 2013, he was .52 ppg +6 over 25 games for the Leafs. He had come up with a pretty good attitude about 2 way play. I thought he had a decent shot.
In 2014, he only got 2 mins and 48 mins PP respectively with the Blue Jackets and Kings though 12mins/game. But didn't score much.
This season he got 11 seconds of PP time total, 7 mins per game ES on the 4th line for the Leafs. Few can do anything of substance with that - he needs someone with talent to play with.
He's close yet it looks like he's never going to be able to really make it. But doing what he does in the AHL must torment and tantalize some - it does me a little. Looks like he's following in the wake of Jeremy Williams, David Ling and Colin Murphy - AHL Leafs guys who looked decent offensively in the minors but weren't able to get over the hump to the NHL. I kind of feel for him.

I think a lot of teams are going to have trouble dealing with multiple scoring lines the Marlies have now.

That was a hell of a hit. He was given 5 and a game for a check to the head. Honestly didn't seem that bad to me. The guy was skating with his head down and out. I certainly don't think that there was any targeting of the head there.
Highlander said:He is proving he would be a cheap alternative on Kadri's wing (at least to start next season)
Nik the Trik said:Is the rule about specifically targeting the head or hitting the head at all?
Potvin29 said:I think that is actually the AHL rule.
