Yeah when compared to what the people without power have been going through my whining seems pretty silly. Thanks for making me feel this big.

C'mon MF, I didn't mean it that way.  :( :)  :)

Know what, I'm beginning to hate winter...no fun when it's bone-chilling so early on the calendar.  It's usually January/February weather that brings the mercury really down. But an ice storm at the holidays??!!  Egads!

Beginning to? I was born hating the winter...in April

Snow and high winds are wreaking havoc on the QEW between Hamilton and St. Catharines.

Provincial Police say all Toronto-bound lanes are blocked following a 30 to 50 vehicle collision between Vineland and Beamsville.

Maybe people should learn NOT to tailgate...

Enough with the cold already.....can't wait for this weekend's supposed warm up to a balmy -4 degrees. Could be time to break out the shorts. ;)

The -30 windchill is driving me insane. As someone who takes transit this is unbearable. Like was mentioned earlier, -5 will seem like summer!

Here we welcome -30 in the middle of winter, usually around this time its -40 to -50 with the windchill lol

But when I was in Toronto a few weeks ago, it is a different kind of cold there and I found the -20 temperatures to be pretty chilly, thankfully we were able to use the PATH system quite a bit to get around and were only outside for a few minutes at a time.

I had someone from Manitoba once tell me they were a suck for Toronto winters because they're just so humid, whereas being back over there it's more or less dry.

Yea that is what I found when I was there recently, the wind just cuts through you. Here it is so dry in the winter, I have to fill my humidifier daily, and it still doesn't help out that much.

I was trying my best not to complain about the weather, but I can't hold out anymore. 15 cm of snow yesterday.

I'm mad as hell and I'm just not going to take it anymore! I'm boycotting mother nature.
