2020-2021 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

I'm not into sports betting, but nonetheless I'd be super curious to see what the betting line will be for the Canucks return game against the Leafs.

Playoff lineup taking shape.
I like it. Engvall needs a seat. Hasn't done anything for quite a bit. Nice to see if Robertson can get something going with JT and Willy.

I don?t want bloodbath but this has to be a bit of a statement game.  Lacklustre efforts the last few games and playing a limping opponent.  Cant have a David Ayers event.  Put the gears to them early.  Build up a lead and let the gas off if it?s really bad but I think we need a blood in the water game here.

That 4th line is potentially brutal but I like the idea of giving Robertson a shot in the top 6. Now whether it's what we get tomorrow, guess time will tell.

Those guys might need to play together come playoff time since none of them have spots in the top-9 anymore, so better to figure out if there's any chemistry there to make it work now instead of when the games matter.

Plus, even if they are a line come playoffs (I imagine Riley Nash will get in eventually), anyone not named Spezza is likely only getting 5-7 minutes per game.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Matthews get the Dougie Gilmour in '93 treatment, where he's basically out there ever other shift. lol

So if Nash is healthy he's the 3C and Kerfoot goes to the wing and Mikheyev goes to Vladivostok?  How's this going to work?

Paints an interesting picture of how Dubas and Keefe want their defensemen to be used on offence, to add context to the types of players and prospects we target in the draft and in trades.

TJ Brodie is maybe the epitome of this playstyle.

Things were all over the place at practice but this would suggest Sandin might get a game tomorrow.
