They should make it in. They're 6 pts up on Belleville. Belleville has a game in hand so at worst 4 up with 5 games to go. Matt Murray has had a great season and leads the league in GAA and SV% (20 games min) 1.72GAA, .934SV% and he's just 9-5-4. The Beast is 2.63GAA, .904SV%. Akhytyamov is 2.86, .901SV%. Steeves has only scored 1 in the last 10 games. The team lacks scoring. Steeves leads with 55pts in 55 games. Next is A Nylander. 38pts in 60 games and team worst -18. Trading Minten and Grebs away didn't help.

My wife loves going to Marlies games. We haven't been able to make it this year. So I've lost some touch. They got off to such a great start this season, I thought they would be fine and competitive. Now, they're looking like a playoff doormat. Surprised me some. Akhtyamov cooled off after a very hot start. Their PP has gone south. I'm not sure beyond that. Ignorance from not following closely enough.
