Game 7 - Leafs @ Habs - Saturday Oct 22nd 2011 - 19:00 EST - 5-4 Win

Kulemin got the clutch goal there so I'm willing to forgive the fact that "Kulemin loses the battle to Desharnais" was said tonight.

Apparently Grabo got credit for that goal too. Either way, yeah Kule is fighting it but I expect he'll find his comfort zone soon enough.

Officially, Grabovski got the clutch goal. Unless they end up changing it, of course.

Fair enough. No forgiveness then.

Nik, you're twice the size of Desharnais. Unless he's trying to get that magic ring into the big volcano, you should be able to contain him.

He is wirey.

Didn't you hear? Desharnais is the new Martin St Louis, just without the skill, strength or breakaway speed.

Me and Don Cherry, united in rightitude.

I don't really have a projection on Gus, he's obviously struggled a bit, but why is it that by watching this game people are writing off Gus? Maybe I haven't been looking very hard but I don't seem to hear a whole lot of criticism towards Price on his play so far this season. His SV% is .890 and actually declining.

It's Kwik-e-Mart policy to find a scapegoat or sacrificial lamb, if you will.

Why would we criticize Price? His poor play this season is only beneficial to us (and, for what it's worth, it has been getting attention from the Habs fans/media).

Right, but no one on the broadcast said "Damn! Carey Price's SV% is horrendous. Actually... it's worse than Gustavsson's, the guy we've been railing on all game!"

Can someone post whatever is said about Reimer as the Leafs said they would comment after the game.

Some news guys on twitter are saying he has whiplash-like symptoms. Could've stayed in but was taken out for precautionary reasons.

@jonastsn1050 "Wilson says it was whiplash like symptoms for Reimer. Could have finished game but erred on side of caution."

They weren't exactly praising Price, either.

Indeed.  Man are they ever going to on him after this game, 5 goals on 27 shots, although I'm not sure which ones he should have stopped. (1 tip-in, 2 kessel alone, 3 phaneuf blast, 4 goalmouth scramble, and finally 5 ridonkulous move by grabbo all alone)

Actually his save on Steckel's shot late in the game (which was quite good, hard and just above the pad) got them the point.
