Horachek hoping to see more out of David Clarkson tonight.  Yeah, cuz that will fix things.  That's like asking more of the windshield wipers on your race car.

4-2 Carolina, and the Leafs falling to 23rd place by the end of the week.

I'm reminded of a Rush song when it comes to Clarkson.

Exit Stage Left???

Roll the Bones???

Far Cry???

Trade him to the Rangers and make him the "manhattan project"???

So many options here...needing to pick LK's brain...

YYZ.

As in I wish he was at YYZ on a plane to some other team.

No, they'll win tonight, maybe even in convincing fashion, but it won't last long.

I genuinely don't understand why TSN and Sportsnet keeps analysts or broadcasters who are sick out on TV. I like Aaron Ward, I really do, but I don't want to hear him talk when I can barely make out what he's saying. Sportsnet had Romanuk call an entire game the other day and it sounded like he was dying. Strombo tweeted saying how proud or something he was of him for toughing it out. That's stupid. Him being sick significantly impacts his ability to do the job. Throw somebody else in the booth for a game.

These TSN broadcasts make me wish they won the rights.

It was brought up when I criticized the NHL going with Sportsnet that TSN had to put their infrastructure in place and it took time for them to become what they are today.  I think that was a fair assessment and Sportsnet probably deserves a few years to get things right.  My big concern would be that they always seemed like a network that tried to pretend it was young and hip compared to TSN in the same way that a 40 year old going through a mid-life crisis looks "young and hip".  That and they surrounded themselves with pretty mediocre analysts.  Granted TSN managed to retain a lot of guys who had the opportunity to walk away and join Sportsnet but that is somewhat telling too.

I like Miller and Ferraro as a call.

I prefer Cuthbert, but I do like Miller better most of the CBC/Sportsnet guys.

Just the whole broadcast though, the theme song would be back.

Sometimes Bernier needs to leave the puck alone.  That was nearly a terrible giveaway by Bernier.

I like Cuthbert too, better than anyone.  Unlike most on here, I like Hughson as well.

I don't like that penalty. Looked like a good battle and then Gardiner just took the body.

I see the refs have confused push and pull again.

Looks like Panik's on the 4th line in favour of Booth and Clarkson.

*sigh*

Horachek really isn't besting RC by much in some of his decisions.

I like the system changes, there have been some noticeable improvements there. But yeah, some of his line-up decisions are the same things we complained Randy did. Granted, most of that just revolves around Clarkson.
