Oh come now.  That's a bit much.

His entire career has been built around the fact that he always plays with Kessel. I'm not necessarily saying that isn't an NHL player (but he certainly isn't a good one), but there are plenty of player who didn't get a break like he did and weren't able to build themselves a NHL career because of it.

i cant believe theres ten minutes left in the first. it feels like ive been watching for hours

His numbers aren't great with a PPG winger so if he came up somewhere else and was a 3rd loner or something he could easily have just been lost in the shuffle somewhere.

whatever horachecks system. it appears the players have abandoned it already

That's pretty speculative, but of course it's hard to say unless and until he spends considerable extended time away from Kessel.  Who knows, maybe if he did his defense would improve haha.

Chad Larose...a perfect example.  He went undrafted, worked his butt off for Carolina but never really got handed a 1st line role.  He kept losing his job of rookies and having to outplay him.  That eventually got to him and he quit hockey.  He's in the middle of a comeback right now playing in the AHL.

So true.  The energy in the building is ... well, most of the crowd have had their toes tagged.
