Yeah, doesn't mean much. Just a chance to look at some of the kids and assess weaknesses and whatnot. Kessel's line didn't look like they had much time playing together, whereas you could tell Tybo, Army and Naz had been practising.

Kadri, OTOH, is about where Grabovski was 2 years ago.  And Grabovski is about where Crosby was 2 years ago.  And Crosby is where Lemieux was ca. 1995.

PS: Even more distressing than this lackluster game was hearing the clip of Beyak doing the Jets PBP.  I'm going to miss him a lot.

To slightly change the subject, whenever I come to Canada I revel in your culture by going to Tim's as often as possible.  But I have never understood why a bowl of soup and a chocolate donut is considered a lunch combo.  To me, donuts must be consumed strictly between the hours of 4am and 10am.
