Part of it is the Leafs line-up as well - a lot of guys playing on new lines or with guys from the Marlies and so on, whereas, last night, there were 2 complete forward lines that we'll probably see on opening night.

I really like his effort, I'm not impressed with the effort of some of the other guys.  Komisarek, I'm kind of disappointed in.  He's playing like a guy who has a cemented roster spot, and he really shouldn't be.

He hasn't looked specifically bad to me. He looked pretty responsible.

I wouldn't read too much into Komisarek's game tonight. He is sort of guaranteed a roster spot, as he has an NMC, so he knows he's not being sent to the Marlies. Like a lot of vets, I wouldn't be surprised if he's using this game to get his bearings more than anything else. A couple more nights like this, though, and he'll find himself spending a lot of time in the pressbox this season. I mean, he hasn't necessarily been bad, but, he hasn't exactly been good either. He's just sort of there tonight.
 
How do we have 17 shots?  I haven't been paying full attention but it doesn't seem like we've been getting to the philly goalie at all.

Kessel with a couple of shots through the D there but that's not going to do it.

And there's another one...finger running around there.
