God, those jerseys were dreadful.

They were bland and boring... unlike Mats!

Sundin looks proud of those teeth.  Didn't he have a 1/4 inch gap between each one when he entered the league?
I loved Eddie - go big or go home!

It looks as if the Maple Leafs will raise Mats Sundin?s No. 13 jersey to the rafters at the Air Canada Centre on Feb. 11.

..."Coming to a city where people care about the game and everybody's involved, it's something I enjoyed. It's great to be in a city where people really care about your team."

"It's tough to explain to people. You have to come here to see it. You can't explain it to people in Sweden or anywhere else in the hockey world. You have to come here and live it."

Sundin now lives in Sweden with his wife, but he still considers Toronto his second home.

"It's like coming home every time and that's not going to change. I'm just happy to have this great ending. It's been such a big part of my life and to have my relationship with the Leafs and this city, for the rest of my life, it's going to be something I'll cherish for sure.

Gonna need a box of kleenex for that evening!  Can't wait!

"He was the only guy I knew who could verbally give it to Tie Domi and not end up in a three-hour headlock."

(I'm not normally the first with such news.  My apologies if I missed it elsewhere.)

DiManno can do a good article every now and then.

Nice update on Mats:
