She already has more hair than Mats.

Not that it matters but if Mats is 6'5".... is his wife standing on a chair or is she 6'2"??

Also, is that an Ikea bookshelf?

;D

What I meant to say was congrats Mats on a baby girl.

Congrats to Sundin and his wife on their new baby girl.  She's a cutie and congrats to Mats on his new role!  Still miss ya big guy!

I see in the print edition of THN that he's scheduled for an autograph event in TO the weekend of his induction.  Does anyone know whether the HOF ceremony will still take place if the lockout is in effect?  It would be criminal to not give him a bow before an adoring crowd at the game the Sat nite before.

I was thinking about this when I saw an ad for the ceremony in the paper. What an awful disservice this is going to be to all 4 inductees.

The HHoF is not an NHL entity, so, yeah, everything but the HNIC Hall of Fame game the Leafs usually host will go down as planned.

Well, they'd better reschedule it later so that the inductees can be recognized before an ACC crowd.  I have been waiting for that moment for years and years and years.

The Leafs will make sure Sundin gets his moment. Of that, I'm certain.

They better.

I had tickets to Sundin night last year but had to sell them because I couldn't go last minute. It wasn't all bad, I missed a stinker of a game and made a $350 profit on the tickets. As a result I vowed to go to his HHOF game in November, which I still plan to go to whenever it is. The Leafs better let him have his damn night.

Nice article on Sundin by Pierre Lebrun:

Thanks for the update Potvin. Very nice read.

I really want to barge in on the HHOF induction for Sundin and chant "SUNDIN SUNDIN SUNDIN!!!" with a group of enthusiasts... and have him give that smile and laugh, and follow it up with ok settle down boys!  Hahaha.

Man I miss our fearless leader.

I kind of wish I had done what you did - sold the tickets to that game.  Was an awesome moment though, watching his banner get raised.

That game was the beginning of the end for the season. God that was painful.
