All this hate because he re-worded what he said...and lets be honest as Ern says here...its the same thing...so who cares if he wants to word it slightly differently....and honestly ive had Dreger on my twitter for years and I can say he doesn't 'just throw stuff out there to get hits' and to compare him to Ecklund? Seriously? One pulls crap out of thin air...the other has actual connections in the business and is related to I believe (might be wrong) Nonis through marriage...thats not a small advantage...thats a gigantic, game-changing advantage. They shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence. Dreger has a direct route to credibility, and from what ive seen has done a lot to protect his credibility...Ecklund is a joke no one finds funny...

I love Dreger.  I think he works hard, and I think he's a decent news breaker.  He's even better a shooting down the bs rumours.  Does he miss?  Sure once in a while, but so does everyone.  He's really grown on me the last few years.  Good guy.

Why not just sign Zach Parise as a UFA?  We don't lose anything and we get a first line center.  Trade grabbo and we have a Parise - Connolly as our 1-2 centers.

...and I guess, why would the Leafs trade Grabovski and keep Connolly?
 
I'd still trade Schenn for the right player but I'm starting to believe that JVR might not be him now. I don't know... so torn. I guess I'd want to see JVR back for a couple of weeks to see how he does and be reminded of why I might make this deal... and it's entirely possible I wouldn't.
