What's wrong with Schenn?

I only saw about 1/2 the game yesterday, but Schenn looked like a completely different player to me - he was fast, he was beating players to the puck, he was setting up chances, taking shots, hitting..

Yeah, since he was sat out that one game he's been much, much better. He looks like the Schenn we signed to that 5 year deal.

Yep.  His last 2 games vs the first bunch were night and day.  What also stuck out to me was his poise with the puck in his own zone.  He was back to being patient with it and not throwing half hearted panic clearing attempts up the wall resulting in turnovers or getting pushed off the puck easily down low. 

Really does seem like the reset button was pushed.  Does one healthy scratch game really do that?  For smart players, I think it does.

I think it's a pride thing as well. When they are singled out to sit healthy, it sends a shot to the pride a bit and players seem to quickly respond, well most anyway.

i've liked schenn a lot these last few games..seems like maybe he's put this most current speed bump behind him
