Reaves is taking up a spot but Robertson needs time in the A. He shouldn't be on the NHL roster.

His stats and scouting comments from Google search look respectable for a role in the AHL ...

He is like 8 years older than the next oldest defenseman, and just a year or two older than Clifford and Shaw (who are all younger than me, and I'm younger than most of you here).
