So I was out of town and didn't see/hear about Grabovski and MacArthur both being out. Can someone explain to me why we didn't call up a forward to replace someone?

Because Jake Gardiner can play forward, defense, and right field.

Awesome.  ;D ;D

I wonder if he can coach

Have to think we see Colborne on Sat. if Lombardi can't play...

With him just on the verge of coming back from an injury, I doubt it. Leafs will still have 4 healthy centres on the roster even without Lombardi. More likely Kadri comes up if the injury is significant.

Yeah, I posted it could be Kadri. Though Colborne looks to be a "go" for Friday... Maybe give him an extra day and start him here? I don't know... We'll see.

Like I said earlier in this thread about Aulie, better to give him a couple games to get his legs back under him before throwing into his first game against an NHL lineup since April - and, in Colborne's case, what would be just the 2nd of his career.

Does he post on the internet?  If so, he's more than qualified!

this team is looking more and more like previous years, even last year they had a decent start, here comes the slide!! this time Wilson better be axed

That was just not a smart pinch by Schenn.  Nothing Scriven's can do there but man this team gives up way too many odd man rushes.

That play really shows how not NHL ready Gardiner's defense is though.  He didn't take away the pass or the shot there.
