Granted I missed the 3rd period, but are people really getting satisfaction from these blown leads, last minute, out shot, desperation, hanging on by the skin of your teeth victories? I mean, when was the last time this team played a solid game? The Chicago game in like October??

I think people are getting about as much satisfaction as they can get out of a game that was representative of the very faults that were a major contributing factor to their recent playoff-chances blowing losing streak. Well spotted, though, that in this trainwreck of a season that such satisfaction is misplaced and they should, instead, go back to being frustrated by the club.

I barely even noticed Ashton's play out there today, but I see he wasn't on for any goals against.

I can safely say that he was better than Clarkson tonight.
Hey now...Clarkson did whip his gloves off and grab Lucic before falling down...I mean thats a thing.

Yeah, I mean at that point I was fine with him. It was the terrible defensive zone coverage afterward that ruined his performance.

In fairness, I thought D'Amigo was decent in his few shifts. I hope D'Amigo, Ashton, and Holland get real chances at making the roster next year.

Probably, because I'm a realist, and chances aren't good for this team to make the playoffs.

there was this kid on cp24 tonight before the game, they had him on because he has cerebral palsy and he was getting to see the leafs because they set it up so he could meet the team and so on.  he did say the leafs would win this 4-3..so maybe he's the witch

Can we ask him about the rest of the games so we can get the anger over with all at once?

Ive never been impressed with Ashton at all with the big club. On the Marlies it is a different story

I just want to say thanks to everyone who was posting here for the game.  You guys made this thread a great read this morning. :)

Kadri (19) and Bozak (18) close to 20. That would be nice.

Raymond is also stuck at 19. If those guy hit it would give us six 20-goal scorers, which is quite the feat. The Leafs haven't done that since 98-99. They've had a few seasons where they had 5 guys hit that mark, most recently in 08-09 (but nobody hit 30 in that season).

PPP takes a look at the third period collapse:

http://www.pensionplanpuppets.com/2014/4/4/5581096/breaking-down-another-collapse-how-did-the-bruins-tie-up-the-game

Basically, that Raymond-Bolland-Clarkson line was awful. I didn't realize that Bolland did a 360 at almost the exact same time as Raymond did on the 3rd goal. Seriously where's that gif?

And everyone kept saying "wait till Bolland comes back from injury". Truth is he has been barely visible. I know to come back after missing so many games it takes time but he is like another Clarkson out there.
